Steven Bartlett, the ex-chief executive of Coffee Republic, has launched his own coffee beans wholesaling business called Ministry of Coffee. Bartlett, who left Coffee Republic in 2008, is launching to the new venture alongside his American Coffee House business, which he debuted last year in Plymouth. The company is currently looking to open more sites under the brand through franchising agreements. Bartlett’s new business is aimed at supplying smaller cafes, restaurants and hotels both nationally and internationally with affordable coffee beans.
