Enterprise Inns has revealed more details about the division of the pubs with its Bermondsey Pub Company managed house estate.
The currently 13-strong estate (including two pubs yet to open) is now split into two divisions within the company – the Place to Meet and Family Friendly Pubs.
Pubs in the first category are described as: “the place for groups of friends couples and singles to meet, relax and enjoy each other’s company in a friendly and vibrant atmosphere whenever it suits them.” Family Friendly Pubs is classified as “the place to feel welcome and relaxed, whether your with friends, your partner or out for lunch as a family”.
Enterprise has said it expects the Bermondsey portfolio to eventually grow by 35-50 pubs a year, with an average initial capital investment of £200,000 per pub.
