Ducalian Capital, trading as Holborn Leisure Group, has secured the £5.75m it was seeking to acquire and refurbish Carvosso’s At 210 in Chiswick High Road.

The site, which will again by overseen by chef Henry Harris, will become the sixth EIS pub acquired and redeveloped by Ducalian

Ducalian, the venture capital firm set up to invest in operational real estate with a particular focus on pubs, agreed terms off market to buy the freehold for £3.75m with vacant possession.

The James McCulloch-led group re-launched the Three Cranes in the City in November, the Coach & Horses in Clerkenwell in January, and the Truscott Arms as the Hero of Maida last month.

Harris, formerly of Bibendum, Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor restaurant and Racine, is working full time on the Ducalian portfolio.

McCulloch previously said: “We originally asked Henry to join as a consultant, but thanks to our mutual desire to create noteworthy pubs with exceptional dining, we invited him to become a partner so we can all work together to create genuinely special establishments.”
