Deltic Group, the UK’s largest nightclub operator, has further added to its estate, with the Play venue in Hereford for an undisclosed sum.
The 1,000 capacity club, on Blue School Street, was previously owned by local operator Billy Reynolds.
The company plans to continue trading Play in its current format.
Deltic Group’s chief financial officer Russell Margerrison said: “Tactical acquisitions have always been a key part of our strategy and Play fits well with our existing portfolio. Hereford is a thriving county town and we’re looking forward to working with the team to further develop the business.”
