Crazy Pedro’s, the late night pizza and tequila concept, has confirmed its third site and first outside Manchester, in Liverpool.

The new site on Parr Street will be spread over two floors, with a 50-cover terrace on the first floor and a further 50 covers in the pizza kitchen on the ground floor.

The 2,500 sq ft Liverpool venue has been taken on by The Liars Group’s Ross Mackenzie, Lyndon Higginson and Jobe Ferguson, who now own ten mostlye Manchester based bars including The Black Dog Ballroom, The Liars Club, Cane and Grain and Science and Industry.

Higginson has previously told MCA he wanted to build Crazy Pedro’s to ten sites before considering selling the business.

Established in 2014, Crazy Pedro’s has a reputation for pizzas with wacky toppings such as sushi, chips, cheese and gravy and Cadbury’s crème eggs.

It also claims to have one of the largest selections of teqilla and mezcal and in the UK, with double barrel reposado tequila, by Tequila Herradura, and original cocktails and frozen margaritas such as the mango and chilli.

Higginson said: “We’re really excited to bring our brand to Liverpool, we love the city and love bars like Salt Dogs Slims, Berry & Rye and El Bandito, and now we can’t wait to be operating here.

“We’ve been waiting for the perfect site in Liverpool for ages and we know we’ve found it on Parr Street. I really think Pedro’s is going to be a great fit in Liverpool. You can relax in the daytime with pizza and a few beers. It always gets a bit boozier later on with a big industry crowd checking out the biggest selection of mezcal this side of Mexico!”

Crazy Pedro’s Liverpool will open seven days per week from 12pm-4am from early Autumn.
