Craft Beer Co, the specialist beer bar concept launched by award-winning licensee Martin Hayes, is in advanced talks on securing a further two sites in London before the ened of the year, M&C Report understands.

It is thought that one of the new sites will be in Clapham, after recent openings in Brixton and Islington.

Hayes said that the concepts versatility had spearked interest from landlords, who were now approaching the group with possible sites.

He said: “We’re currently in advanced talks concerning two more sites in London, which, all being well, we’ll aim to have trading before the end of the year. Having opened in some eclectic sites, from a very traditional venue such as the one in Islington, to our bar-like site in Brixton, we’ve proved this concept is versatile. I believe it’s this versatility that has sparked the interest from landlords have approached us to take sites which are currently underperforming.”

Hayes has made no secret of his ambition, previously stating that the brand can “add a new and exciting dimension to any of the UK’s larger connotations”.

The group currently operates sites in Clerkenwell, Islington, Brixton and Brighton.
