A Cotswolds pub operator has secured his second site.

Sebastian Snow, who operates the Five Alls at Filkin gastropub has acquired The Plough on Kelmscott through property agents Colliers.

Snow, said: “I am very excited to be opening my second pub business in the Cotswolds and am thoroughly enjoying living and working in such a beautiful part of the country. My wife and I were keen to purchase another outlet that would allow us to benefit from the strong demand in the Cotswold tourism sector.

“The Plough Inn is rich in character and provides us the perfect facilities and setting as a foundation for another successful local business. We hope to run the pub in the same way as the Five Alls at Filkin, with a passionate, hands-on approach. We look forward to welcoming locals and visitors to experience all that the Plough Inn has to offer.”

Peter Brunt, hotels director at Colliers International, said: “The pretty village of Kelmscott is a prime destination for visitors to the Cotswolds and the Plough Inn reaps the benefits from this trade. The Plough Inn is both charming and unique, offering a warming and relaxed atmosphere in an inspiring part of the country. We wish the new owners every success in making their mark and growing the business.”
