City Pub Company has opened the St Andrews Brew House on St. Andrews Street, Norwich.

The company, which comprises City Pub Company East (12 pubs) and City Pub Company West (8 pubs), has spent 15 weeks refurbishing the Grade II listed building.

In addition to the renovated bar area, the pub now features an in-house brewery, a 60 cover restaurant and 20 outside. St Andrews Brew House has two private rooms on the first floor, one of which has a large dining table for 28 overlooking the brewery tanks and the other a big screen and its own bar.

The pub is described as serving “uncomplicated tasty British food using good fresh local produce as well as hot & cold smoking a range of meat, fish and cheese in-house”.

In addition to the four specialist ales which have been brewed on site there is also an extensive selection of draught craft beers and cans.

Rupert Clark, chief executive of City Pub Company East, said: “St Andrews Brew House is a very special pub and I am delighted to have completed this exciting refurbishment. The pub offers something for everyone with outstanding food, cracking beers from our in-house brewery and other craft producers, as well as some stunning private spaces. For the true beer lovers we also offer a variety of tours including brewery experience days to show how we create our wonderful beers.”
