CG Restaurants & Bars, the London-based hospitality group, has acquired the site of Novus’ Jewel Bar at Wood Lane near St Paul’s for its fifth Dirty Martini outlet, M&C Report has learnt.

Chief executive Scott Matthews told M&C Report that the company is currently negotiating on two more sites for H1 2015.

The new site will open as Dirty Martini St Paul’s mid-November. It follows the acquisition of a site in Monument last month and will be the brand’s third venue in the core City district and fifth across London.

Matthews said: “We are inundated with demand from both walk-in and pre-booked business.

“Like for like bookings currently up 24% on last year and the demand shows no sign of abating. Customers are demanding premium experiences at reasonable prices and we are proud that Dirty Martini is leading the way on delivering on our customer expectations.

“Our search for new sites is ongoing and we are in active negotiations on two further locations which we aim to open in the first half of the New Year.”

Nick Weir at Shelley Sandzer acted on the Wood Lane deal.
