Steve Novak, the owner of Cattle Grid, the steakhouse concept, is to launch a second pub site in Southwark, London, MCA has learnt.
The Hogsmill will open on the former Union Theatre site in Union Street, SE1, as a sister pub to The Earlsfield, which Novak opened in Garratt Lane in summer 2014.
Novak described the Earlsfield as having the “essence of Cattle Grid, but including food from the rest of the farm”.
The 3,500sq ft site also features Sky Sports and an extensive drinks range.
Cattle Grid currently operates two eponymous sites in Balham and Windsor and a further unit under its fast-casual concept Stampede in Leeds.
