Camerons Brewery has confirmed that its 12th Head of Steam will open in Didsbury in February.

Camerons will begin work on the former Sanctuary venue, on Wilmslow Road, which has been closed for four years, in December this year.

The Head of Steam will have 19 keg lines with a selection of rotating craft beers, eight cask ale lines, plus a selection of premium cocktails, spirits and soft drinks.

The food offering will include a brunch menu as well as a selection of pub classics and a range of burgers and 12” hot dogs. The menu will also include deli taster boards and energy bowls.

Chris Soley, chief executive at Camerons Brewery, said: “We have been looking at a number of venues across the North West and we identified the Manchester area as one of the key places we wanted to open a new site in. Didsbury is a very popular town and we feel our The Head of Steam venue will be another excellent addition to the fantastic range of bars and restaurants in the area”.

“We are currently viewing a number of other potential sites across the UK as we look to continue our expansion of our retail pub estate.”

The news follows the north east brewer’s latest opening of its The Head of Steam Liverpool venue on Hanover Street on 21 September plus the recent refurbishments at the Brewery Tap, Leeds and Eagle & Child, York.
