Camerons Brewery has confirmed it will carry out its biggest single site investment, after securing the former Temple Street Social site in Birmingham for its Head of Steam Brand.
The site on the city’s Temple Street will be the 13th iteration of the brand, which Camerons acquired three years ago, when it opens in May.
It comes as the group continues to build the footprint of the brand with a target of six acquisitions a year, although chief executive Chris Soley has previously told MCA that the group could hit 10 in the current financial year.
He said: “As part of our expansion plans we have been looking at venues across the UK, and the Midlands was a key area we identified for our Head of Steam venue. Birmingham is such a vibrant UK city, and an area which has a growing craft beer scene. We feel our bar will further enhance this offer and we’re very excited about what will be a key venue within our group”
“This Birmingham venue will be Camerons highest ever single site investment into a pub and we feel we will offer a very unique customer experience.”
