BrewDog is to reopen the Grand Union site at 55 Charterhouse Street under The Draft House format.

The site, which formed part of The Draft House’s acquisition of the six-strong Grand Union business in 2017, will open as Draft House Farringdon in November.

The site had closed after Christmas 2017, with a sale thought to be close to fruition earlier this year, however the Charlie McVeigh-led Draft House business was then acquired by BrewDog in March this year, in a deal believed to be valued at c£15m.

Since BrewDog acquired the business, it has converted the Milton Keynes Draft House to its own eponymous format, which left 12 Draft House branded sites, with the Grand Union in Farringdon operating as a standalone concept.
