BrewDog, the Scottish brewer and pub operator, has confirmed plans to open more than 10 bars over the next six months.
Its next opening is to be at the Chamber Building in Panmure Street, Dundee, in May, followed by Cardiff’s Westgate Street in late May/early June and Colquit Street in Liverpool by mid-June.
BrewDog said it has identified sites for a craft beer bar in London’s Clapham and also for its brewing academy in East London. It hopes to launch both by late summer. Brighton, Oxford, Cambridge and Norwich are its other “top target sites” currently.
Overseas, BrewDog has second a second site in Sweden, in Gothenburg, which is set to open on 22 May. Further openings in Berlin, Rome and Florence are expected in the summer, with the sites close to being secured.
The group said it has found partners for openings in Bologna, Italy; and Helsinki, Finland. It’s also looking for venues in Paris, Barcelona, Norway, Brussels and New Delhi.
Meanwhile, BrewDog said it hopes to open its DogTap brewtap bar at its Ellon brewery, along with a shop and visitor centre, in time for its AGM on 21 June.
