BrewDog has updated its manifesto of pledges across the business, six months after its Blueprint was launched.

In the update it stresses that following on from an Equity for Punks franchise open day at its Elllon brewery in November, it was in “late stage negotiations to agree legals on our first EFP franchise site”.

In January BrewDog launched free “Bar Stool Beer Schools”, which attracted 6,000 people across its estate. The feature will now be a part of all new BrewDog Bars within their first two months.

The group also said its Local Taps initiative – in which two taps in every bar are reserved for beers produced by local breweries had been successfully implemented.

However, on its pledge to pay all suppliers within seven days, the group said: “This is one we could do better on; we strive to do this where possible but on many occasions we aren’t keeping up with 7 days due to volumes and delays in our internal processes. But we are working on improvements to meet this commitment every single time.”
