Brains, the Cardiff-based brewer and pub operator, is to open its third site under its all-day café bar concept Trees and the first to offer accommodation.
The company, which is looking to ramp up the number of sites it operates under the format, has secured the Punchhouse pub & hotel in Monmouth that is set to open next month.
Last year the group said it was eyeing plans to open four or five sites under its Trees concept each year.
It currently operates two Trees sites: the Lime Tree in Chepstow, Gwent, and the Pear Tree in Roath, Cardiff.
