Best Place Inns, London-based pub and hostel operator led by Ben Stackhouse, has joined London’s burger revolution by launching a burger kitchen at its the Green Man pub on Edgware Road, Paddington.

The recently refurbished city pub has been equipped with a £30,000 modern burger kitchen in preparation for their opening week. During its opening week, the pub is selling all burgers on their menu for half-price.

The new burger kitchen, which is suitably named Juicy B*stard, will serve a variety of American-style burgers seven days a week.

This is the first of his pubs entering the ‘better burger’ market, but Stackhouse says he is up to the challenge with a highly experienced and enthusiastic team behind him, including new operations manager, David Trott, who was previously a part of the Rushmore group managing The Player bar in Soho and overseeing the Lucky Chip burger operation.

Trott said: “We’re combining our traditional pub roots with the latest and hottest trend in London so we’re really excited about this new concept. There are very limited places in London where you can go have a pint in a classic pub setting while tucking into a dirty, juicy American-style burger.”

Stackhouse: “Everyone in London is going wild for the messy burger at the moment and that’s exactly what we’re delivering plus so much more. We’ve spent months developing the perfect burger combinations, ensuring they are tasty, juicy and everything a proper burger should be.”
