Beds & Bars is planning an initial 10 franchise partnerships after its deal with Copenhagen Downtown Hostel in Denmark helped boost revenue by 36%.

The partnership was announced in November and the results come from the hostel’s first full month of trading.

Beds & Bars managing director Murray Roberts said: “We are delighted with these early results. Bearing in mind the time of year and the seasonality, this uplift far exceeds all expectations. The success of any Franchise arrangement should based on a win-win model, so that both parties benefit. That is most definitely the case here.

“We have our sights set on 10 initial network deals and we are actively working on these, with Lucie Perin appointed as the Beds and Bars Franchise Sales Manager.”

Danish partner Jesper Elkjær said: “The results have exceeded our expectations. We can say with certainty, that we made the right decision by going into partnership with Beds and Bars.”
