Be At One, the Piper-backed cocktail bar chain, has strengthened its regional pipeline after securing sites in Bristol and Milton Keynes for openings in the first quarter of next year, M&C Report understands.

The group, which opened its 19th site yesterday at in Russell Street Covent Garden, has secured a site in Bristol’s Queen Street for an opening next February and in the Hub, Milton Keynes for an opening in March.

The company, which reported sales of £11.6m for the year to 31 March 2013, will open its 20th site and its second outside London, in Brighton, next month.

In September, the group, which is led by Steve Locke, Rhys Oldfield and Leigh Miller, agreed a further £2.5m of funding through Lloyds Banking Group, on top of the £4m facility it secured at the start of this year. It said the funding would help it accelerate its rollout programme.

The company opened its first site outside London, earlier this year in Reading, which is believed to be trading beyond expectations, leading it to focus its attention on expanding the brand outside of the capital.

It plans to have reached 23 sites by the end of March 2014.
