Batemans is to launch another site under its ‘manchise’ pub operator agreement, MCA has learnt.
The group has converted its Ball House site in Boston to the model. It follows trails of the agreement at the Woolpack pub in Wainfleet and the Red Lion at Mumby, near Skegness.
The agreement sees the operator retain 20% of bar and machine sales to pay staff costs, while Batemans gets a rent equivalent to 30% of food sales and pays for all repairs, bills, stock and property insurance.
The group is also seeking a new operator for its manchise pub – the Red Lion, which re-opened in the autumn.
