Barons Pub Company, an independent Surrey-based pub company, has secured its sixth site, a former Chef & Brewer site in Bletchingley.

The company, which is led by Clive Price, is set to re-open the Plough as the Bletchingley Arms next month after a significant refurbishment.

The group operates the Crown & Cushion pub at Minley, Camberley and the Cricketers pub in Horsell, which are both owned by Shepherd Neame.

The company’s other pubs are The Rose & Crown at Thorpe, Egham, Surrey and The Horseshoe at Warlingham, Surrey both Spirit Group pubs and lastly The Star at Malden Rushett, Leatherhead, Surrey – an Enterprise Inns’ lease.
