Brunning and Price, The Restaurant Group-owned the pub operator, has secured a further site in the North West, on the Wirral, M&C Report understands.
The group, which currently has 40 sites in operation, has secured the Grange at Thornton Hough. The site, which was a popular events menu as well as a country inn and restaurant, is set to be reopened this December under the new name the Red Fox.
Earlier this summer, the group, which is led by Mary Willcock, secured a 50-year lease on the Hayhurst Arms in Bostock, Cheshire.
The Restaurant Group believes there is potential to eventually grow its pub restaurant estate to over 200 sites.
In a presentation to analysts on the back of its interim results earlier this year, the group said there were excellent opportunities to grow its pub restaurant business, which currently stands at 51 sites, including 28 freeholds.
As well as Brunning & Price it also operates 11 sites under its Home Counties Pubs banner.
