Brunning & Price, The Restaurant Group (TRG)-owned pub business, has further strengthened its pipeline of openings with the acquisition of a former Brewers Fayre in Oxfordshire, M&C understands.

The company, which currently operates c45 sites, is to re-open the former Wobbly Wheel near Banbury as the Falcon this winter.

M&C also understands that the group will re-open the Jolly Farmers near Reigate, one of two pubs it acquired from the 3D Pub Company, as the Pheasant at Buckland this winter.

The Jolly Farmers and sister site the Fox Revived near Horley are both currently closed after their acquisition by TRG earlier this summer.

The pubs were originally purchased alongside funds from VCTs managed by Downing LLP, the investment management firm.

Earlier this year Brunning & Price launched its first brunch menu across its estate. The menu is served from 9am to 11:30am on both Saturdays and Sundays.

It recently re-opened the Bailiwick in Englefield Green, Surrey, which was the latest conversion from TRG’s Home Counties estate.
