Authentic Pub Co., the group led by award-winning licensees Simon and Sarah Bailey, has added its seventh site at Windsor, Berkshire.

The Royal Oak, which has been acquired from Enterprise Inns, will trade throughout the summer serving Authentic’s British menu before undergoing complete refurbishment.

Simon Bailey said: “The move to Windsor is a sensible expansion of our trading area, further west along the Thames, making the pub a great fit with our existing estate.

“While we continue to follow our core philosophy that every pub is unique, and needs its own approach, we now have two proven menu formats that give us greater flexibility both within the estate and when considering new opportunities.”

As well as the British menu, Authentic also operates a Thai model after acquiring two Thai Dragon pubs earlier this year.

Its existing sites are the Waggon & Horses, Surbiton; the Bell Inn, Hampton; the Flower Pot, Lower Sunbury; the Norbiton & Dragon, Norbiton; the White Lyon & Dragon, Worplesdon; and the renamed King & Dragon, Epsom.
