Antic has updated the list of pubs it is currently ‘fermenting’, to include new sites in Elephant & Castle and Brixton.

The five-strong line-up now features a site called Pineapple, which MCA understands is to open on the site of the former The Pineapple pub at 16, Elephant & Castle. The site was most recently home to Polish restaurant Manuska. In addition, Antic is to open a site called Cathedral in Brixton.

The licence for Pineapple has been registered under Noodlum Limited – the concept Antic announced last year it was going to trial in Tooting, however a spokesperson for Antic told MCA that the group was still considering a variety of concepts for Pineapple, and that its Noodlum site in Tooting was “still in the works”.

The remaining three sites include the previously announced Norbonne & Stable, which is to open at The Mews, Norbury Crescent, Liman & Turner (167-169 High Street in Penge) and Vauxhalla at Arch 77, Albert Embankment.

Antic, which recently opened The Denmark Arms in Newham and Arkstar in Holloway, recently brought a package of 11 pubs to the market with Downing LLP, through Fleurets, as the limited life funding structure had matured.
