Antic London, the south London-based pub company, is to trial a new noodle bar concept called Noodlum, MCA understands.

The company, which currently operates 45 pubs across south London, will launch the first site under the fast-casual concept close to Tooting Broadway.

It is thought that if successful the company, which is chaired by Mark Crowther, will to add further sites over the next two to three years.

Antic has traditionally focussed on standalone units but as MCA revealed in November it is rolling out its cocktail-focussed Eckovision concept.

At the time founder Anthony Thomas told MCA that while the company had interests outside of pubs it still saw great scope for its core model within the capital.
