Albion & East, the Imbiba-backed bar/restaurant group, has secured its second site.
The Sarah Weir-led group has secured a 4,579sq ft site in the Squire & Partners development, the Department Store, at 250 Ferndale Road, Brixton, in a deal acted on by Shelley Sandzar.
The café and bar is set to open in September and is split over basement and ground floor level, with an area for outdoor seating.
The new location will be the group formerly known as Ruth & Robinson’s second site in London, having launched their debut, Martello Hall, in Hackney last year.
The group said that during the daytime, the venue will provide a relaxed workspace environment, a menu inspired by a wood fired oven as well as a coffee hatch fronting Stockwell Avenue. It will have an all-day appeal, transforming it’s offer into the evening with cocktails and music.
