Adnams chairman Jonathan Adnams said: “In recent years we have enjoyed excellent continuity on the Adnams board, which has not changed since 2007. Nevertheless, we are delighted with our latest appointment and we’re looking forward to Bridget joining the team. “She will bring with her a vast amount of experience and will be a great addition to the Adnams Board. William Kendall is leaving us after eleven valuable year’s service; I would like to thank him for all he has done at Adnams.” McIntrye said: “I’m delighted to join the Adnams board. I’ve admired Adnams from a distance until now. It will be great to be part of the company and I look forward to contributing to the team.”
