Abbey Inns has sold the former Wild Lime bar in Portswood Southampton to the operators of the city’s Heartbreakers bar.
The lease has been assigned, via Davis Coffer Lyons, to Piers Kannangara and Thomas Dyer.
Kannangara also owns and operates The Social Bar in Southampton and founded Addict Clothing., while Dyer founded live music promotion firm Psychedelia.
Keith Goodwin, associate director at Davis Coffer Lyons said: “This was a fantastic opportunity to acquire a great late-night venue. Piers and Thomas have an excellent understanding of the bar and club scene in Southampton and we have no doubt that it will be a great addition to their growing group.”
