The owners of London restaurants Salt Yard and Dehesa are to open a new concept in Covent Garden’s Opera Quarter.

The Opera Tavern - a Victorian pub on Catherine Street - will reopen as bar/restaurant Opera Tavern in January following a soft opening phase.

Like Salt Yard and Dehesa, the new concept will offer small plates of Italian and Spanish food and it will be run by husband and wife team Simon Mullins and Sanja Morris.

Davis Coffer Lyons (DCL), the property agency, acted on behalf of the landlord Shaftesbury.
