G1 Group, the Scottish leisure operator has bought two nightclubs both called Espionage following parent company Duddingston Leisure entering the administration process last year.

The clubs – in Edinburgh and Aberdeen – have been run by administrators KPMG for the past 10 months since Edinburgh-based property and club entrepreneur Jim Tullis had run the venues through his Duddingston Leisure company.

The company entered the administration process in July last year following difficult trading conditions, according to the Scotsman.

Last year G1 Group returned to the acquisition trail following a a 5.5% rise in EBITDA to £17.2m and saying it had a number of opportunities in the pipeline.
