The central London leisure team at CBRE has been appointed to seek operators to take space at 22 Bishopsgate tower, which is set to become the City’s tallest skyscraper.

The Seb Howard-led team has been instructed to seek operators for a 24-hour, 30,000sq ft rooftop restaurant /club unit in the Bishopsgate tower, which is on the site of the now-abandoned Pinnacle skyscraper.

At 278 metres, the glass and steel building will be almost three times the height of Big Ben when it is completed in 2019.

Howard, director at CBRE, said: “”Further to the key appointments of James bell and Leanne Bradley in October last year, the CBRE London leisure team including Cecelia Hale have continued to enjoy resounding success in winning a number of new Landlord instructions in central London and the City. For us, 22 Bishopsgate as one of London’s most coveted leisure instructions is the jewel in the crown and will provide us a great platform to increase the firm’s existing global network and our own exposure to the international market.”
