Pret A Manger has confirmed that it is to launch its first site in Germany, at Berlin Central Station, as revealed by MCA last month.

The launch will see Pret partner with German firm, Station Food, to offer a seven-day-a-week operation from breakfast into the evening.

Pret A Manger is bringing its freshly prepared food and organic coffees to Germany for the first time in partnership with Station Food.

Michael Haley, partnerships director at Pret, said: “We’re thrilled to announce that we are opening our first shop in Germany at Berlin Central Station (Berlin Hauptbahnhof), the central hub for all rail traffic in the city. We’ll be serving our freshly prepared food, organic coffees and teas throughout the day, and we’re looking forward to welcoming our new customers to the shop.”

Marcus Paul, managing director at Station Food, added: “We’ve been fans of the company since day one, so we’re delighted to be collaborating with Pret to open their very first shop in Germany. We feel confident that tourists, rail passengers, local office workers and those who live nearby will enjoy Pret’s fresh food, juices and hot drinks.”

The new shop will be located next to the entrance of Washingtonplatz in the ‘Einkaufsbahnhof’ at Berlin Central Station (Berlin Hauptbahnhof).
