The Yummy Collection has appointed Paul Pavli as non-executive director.

Pavli was formerly MD at Punch Pubs and currently consults for hospitality and leisure businesses.

The appointment follows a recent restructure of the business, which saw two of three founders of Yummy Pubs leaving the business. Anthony Pender now heads Yummy Collection, overseeing the Somers Town Coffee House near St Pancras and the Victoria at Mile End, both in London.

Earlier this month, it completed the sale of its flagship pub, The Wiremill in Surrey, to independent brewer Hall & Woodhouse.

Yummy Collection’s future plans include rapid expansion with a new site already under offer and investment funds in place for further growth alongside capital expenditure plans for its two existing venues.

Commenting in a post on LinkedIn, Pavli said: “I’ve known Anthony for over 10 years and have always been impressed at his passion for his business, his team and the hospitality sector.

“We’ve worked together on a number of industry initiatives over the past few years and when he asked me to join his business on it’s new and exciting journey, I jumped at the chance.”
