Nick Young, operations director at Spirit is to leave the business at Christmas, M&C has learnt.
He becomes the latest senior Spirit executive to leave following the acquisition by Greene King, with former chief executive Mike Tye, finance director Paddy Gallagher and Spirit Leased managing director Chris Welham all departing. HR director Debbie Moore and director of food Kevin Steppe have also recently left.
Young had previously been operations director for Fayre & Square and Flaming Grill and after the acquisition was made operations director for the managed division, reporting in to chief operating officer Alan Morgan.
A Greene King spokesman said: “Nick Young, Spirit’s Operations Director, will be leaving the business at the end of December after a period of hand-over. Nick has done a great job of leading Spirit’s operations teams over the last few years and we wish him all the best for the future.”
