Whitbread Hotels & Restaurants has appointed Bhavesh Mistry, formely of Virgin Media and Anheuser-Busch InBev, as its new finance director, M&C Report has learnt.
Mistry, who spent 10 years at Anheuser-Busch, including nearly three as finance director for UK & Ireland, takesover from Andy Pellington, who stepped down from the Whitbread after nearly a decade with the group earlier this year.
Pellington was previously finance director at Little Chef and group dfinancial controller at Laurel Pub Company.
Mistry joins the Beefeater and Brewers Fayre operator after two and half years as group financial planning & analysis director at Virgin Media. He will report into managing director Paul Flaum.
Earlier this year, Peter Blake left Whitbread Hotels & Restaurants as chief operating officer to join Tragus as managing director of its Café Rouge and Belgo brands.
