Former Leon managing director John Upton has been appointed permanent CEO at No 1 Lounges, MCA understands.
Upton is understood to have been working at the airport members lounge business as chief operating officer for the past year.
He is also chairman of Mother Clucker and The Naked Deli, and an advisor to Ordoo and Yapster.
No 1 Lounges was founded by former theatre producer Phil Cameron, who also backs Claw restaurant.
It has members lounges and restaurants at Gatwick, Luton and Birmingham.
