Martin Tovee has stepped down as a regional operations director at Whitbread to join Patisserie Holdings, the parent company of Patisserie Valerie, Druckers and Phillpotts.

Tovee has joined the Paul May-led Patisserie Holdings as a regional director after just eight months with Whitbread.

Previous to that he has stints at Greene King as an operations manager and at EAT where here was head of operations for a year.

He spent eight years as a regional operations director at Costa.

MCA revealed last November that Adrian Johnson, the former managing director of Costa Retail and chief executive of EAT, had joined Patisserie Valerie as its new managing director.
