Domino's Pizza UK & Ireland has selected Tesco Mobile boss Lance Batchelor as the successor to current chief executive Chris Moore. According reports, Batchelor - a serving non-executive director - is expected to take the role of chief executive designate at the pizza delivery company sometime after March. Moore is expected to retire towards the end of this year after 20 years with the company, when Batchelor will take over. Domino's declined to comment. In a fourth quarter trading statement covering the 13 weeks to the 26 December released earlier this month, Domino's revealed total system sales had increased 17.8% year-on-year to £132.5m. Like-for-like sales at its 553 mature stores increased 10.3%.
