Kirstey Elston has been appointed marketing director at Subway UK & Ireland.
Elston was formerly marketing director for Costa Coffee, where she spent 15 years working her way up from senior marketing manager.
She was head of marketing and then global marketing director for Costa Express.
Commenting on LinkedIn yesterday (22 March), Elston said: “I was super excited today to start my new role as Marketing Director - UK&I for Subway!
Leading marketing, digital & CRM and NPD for the UK&I business unit - I am absolutely delighted to be able to play a role in this amazing brand’s journey and next stage of growth.”
Last week, MCA reported the sandwich giant has confirmed it is exploring a possible sale in a deal that could value the chain at more than $10bn (£8.2bn).
