Revolution Bars Group, the 67-strong bar and restaurant business, has confirmed the appointment of Kate Eastwood in the new position of sales director.

As flagged up by MCA last week, in her new role Eastwood will oversee the group’s increased focus on pre-booked sales.

Eastwood, who was previously director of Business Development for Revolution, will be responsible for driving future sales growth and implementing the pre-booked sales strategy across the Revolution and Revolución de Cuba brands.

Revolution said it had a substantial digital platform and a well-established sales team, creating the potential to grow pre-bookings.

It said: “The focus will be to drive bookings from the corporate market as well as the more established cocktail masterclass, evening business and other events.”

Mark McQuater, chief executive of Revolution Bars Group, said: “Kate has strongly contributed to growing and developing the pre-booked sales team and increased focus on this area of the business to support Revolution’s continued growth.”

Eastwood said: “As a key area of growth for Revolution, this is an ideal opportunity to get our beautiful bars out to more customers via our digital channels and through our passionate sales team. I am very excited about building on strong relationships with our current customers and identifying and developing new relationships.”
