Revolution Bars Group, the listed late-night operator, has appointed Godfrey Russell to group property director.

Russell has been with the company for 19 years and has been involved in all aspects of its property strategy, acquisition and maintenance including site finding, design and build, maintenance and management.

The group has opened six branches in the last 12 months, including a new Revolution De Cuba in Harrogate last week with three other units are under construction in Reading, Glasgow and Aberdeen. The company expects to open another five bar-restaurants in the current financial year.
