Bharti Radix, formerly of Draft House and Jamie Oliver Restaurant Group, has joined Petersham Nurseries as finance director, MCA understands.

Radix was most recently interim finance director at Jamie Oliver Restaurant Group for four months, before handing over to Tamsin Ashmore.

She spent three and a half years at Draft House, helping with the transition after the pub group was acquired by Brewdog, before departing in May.

Radix spend an earlier five-year stint of her career with Jamie Oliver, across his Fifteen restaurant, charitable foundation and international business.

Petersham Nurseries operates two sites – the original restaurant, teahouse and homeware and garden store in Richmond, and the more recently opened Covent Garden site, which includes two restaurants, a deli, wine cellar, florist, and home and garden shop, spread across four units and 16,000sq ft.

Founded and owned by members of the Boglione family, who also own Italian leisure brands Superga, Kappa, Jesus Jeans and K-Way, the restaurant at Richmond previously held a Michelin star under chef Skye Gyngell.

Lara Boglione, managing director of Petersham Nurseries, said: “I’m thrilled to be starting 2019 with Bharti joining the team here at Petersham Nurseries, Covent Garden. Her knowledge and experience will really add the strength we need to our senior management team.”

Radix added: “I’m very excited to be joining Petersham Nurseries at this important stage of their journey. I have admired the brand for some time now and I’m looking forward to contributing to their future success.”
