Poke House has appointed Rob Wickenden as its new co-country head for the UK.

Wickenden was previously senior expansion manager (international markets) at Deliveroo, prior to which he was an expansion manager & franchise manager (Europe) for Anheuser-Busch InBev.

He was also real estate & development manager (UK & Europe) for Vapiano, property acquisitions manager for Mitchells & Butlers, and acquisitions surveyor for Wagamama.

Earlier this year, Poke House confirmed to MCA that it plans to open more than 65 outlets across the UK by the end of 2023, with its first location outside London in Cambridge.

In June, it confirmed five openings in the coming months, in Battersea Power Station, Borough Market, St. Paul’s, St John’s Wood and Mayfair.
