Kate Skerritt, co-founder of healthy food-on-the-go concept POD and most recently head of retail at Le Pain Quotidien, has joined Starbucks.
Skerritt has taken up the role of director of food EMEA at the coffee giant.
She spent five months at Le Pain before taking up the position at Starbucks this month.
She co-founded POD with Tim Hall and Emma Blackmore in 2005 and acted as its director of business development until October.
She said at the time: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at pod but the time is now right to me to move on and pursue some exciting opportunities elsewhere, I wish the team the best of luck for the future.”
