Neil Littler is to leave his role as chief marketing officer, UK and Ireland at Tim Hortons to join Starbucks from next month, heading up its UK marketing and product teams.
Littler has been at Tim Hortons for almost two years, and previous to that he was brand & marketing manager – food at Marks & Spencer.
In October last year, MCA reported that Starbucks UK had restructured its operations team as its rate of expansion continues to slow.
The group has traditionally had four regional operations directors overseeing the UK but it is understood that this has now been narrowed to two.
The move saw Robert McCoy join from PizzaExpress, with a brief to cover London and the south east, with existing regional operations director Gill Rogers responsible for the rest of the country.
