Nando’s, Capricorn Ventures-backed group, has appointed Robert Bray, formerly of Tesco, as its new people director.
Bray joins Nando’s after seven years with the supermarket giant, including the last two-and-a-half years as people director across its Tesco Hospitality and New Business Development division.
In August, MCA revealed that Darrell Osborne was to step down as commercial director at Nando’s after 10 years with the company.
Osborne’s departure, which is amicable, saw James Fowler, who joined the group in July 2013 from YO! Sushi as finance director, become the group’s finance and commercial director.
At the same time, the group appointed Ben Fricke, currently commercial director at Subway, as its new head of supply chain and procurement. Fricke, who joins the group next week, will report into Fowler.
Osborne, who will Nando’s at the end of next month, was previously supply chain
consolidation of Nando’s head office team earlier this year, which saw Maria Horn become chief operating officer and Richard Atkinson, who was responsible for building the award-winning JustGiving service, join as its new technology director.
Nando’s is on track to have c360 sites by the end of its current financial year.
