Les Murphy, the drinks industry veteran and current trading director at Heineken UK, is to retire from the business at the end of the year.
He has been in the drinks industry for 37 years, with roles at Matthew Brown, Bulmers, and then Scottish & Newcastle (latterly Heineken UK).
Heineken said: “Les has made an outstanding contribution to our UK on trade business - both as a senior leader and a member of the on-trade management team. He’s been absolutely pivotal to the success of our on trade turnaround journey and will be much missed by his many friends and colleagues across the UK business.”
