Loungers has appointed Robert Darwent to the company’s board of directors as a non-executive director, with immediate effect.

Darwent, a founding partner and member of the investment committee at backers Lion Capital, replaces James Cocker as Lion’s board representative following Cocker’s departure from Lion.

As a result, Cocker has resigned from the board with immediate effect.

Loungers operates 150 café/bar/restaurants across the England and Wales under its Lounge and Cosy Club brands and is targeting 25 new openings a year.
