Andrew Jobes, Punch’s former head of food, has joined the Hakkasan Group, MCA understands.

Jobes joined the pubco in 2015 into the newly created role of senior retail development manager, with the task of implementing the company’s new concepts, including its Mighty Local community pub model. He later became head of food and then head of food and marketing, where he was responsible for marketing, digital, food, drinks, concepts and brands teams.

Last year Russell Danks joined the group as marketing and strategy director reuniting with his former Greene King colleague, Clive Chesser, who was appointed chief executive in May.

Jobes has joined the restaurant and nightclub business as senior operations manager, with a focus on the UK.
